Building Regulations (Accredited Certifier) Training Course

About the course:

The Building Regulations (Accredited Certifier) Course has been specifically designed to meet the needs of personnel that will be obliged to notify and certify  new & renovated Mechanical Engineering Services (i.e. HVACR & Controls) comply with the Building Regulations.

Course Duration: 8hrs (CPD)

Who Should Attend

Delegates will need to be experienced, knowledgeable and competent in their discipline to attend this course as the content is focused on the Regulations. An assessment of knowledge will be carried out at the end of the training but this will assume that the delegates are experienced and therefore will focus on the new requirements of the Building Regulations.

Delegates attending this one day course can expect to study the detailed requirements of the current amendments to the 2000 Building Regulations and apply the statutory requirements to the range of Mechanical Engineering Services installations.

Pre course literature will be issued by email and a course handbook will be provided on attendance.

Course Aim:

  • Review issues surrounding consumption of resources.
  • Inform delegates of the notification requirements to all stakeholders when Mechanical Engineering Services works are carried out.
  • Guide delegates to access the appropriate sections of the BESCA website; record and confirm details in compliance with the notification requirements
