Air Conditioning System Energy Assessors Course – 3 Day Course

The two day AC Energy Assessors Course prepares candidates to become Energy Assessors for Air Conditioning Systems under the requirements of the European Performance of Buildings Directive

Aims: On completion of this course delegates should be able to:

1. Undertake 3 energy assessments on air conditioning systems without guidance
2. Prepare assessment/condition reports
3. Advise plant managers and/or building owners about the potential for cost effective energy efficiency measures in respect of the inspected plant;
4. Inform plant managers and/or building owners about:
- obvious instances of inadequate maintenance
- neglect or faults in the inspected system and recommend further intrusive inspections
5. Demonstrate that they are qualified or have prior experience and learning equivalent to the National Occupational Standards for Energy Assessors (Air Conditioning)
6. Develop a Portfolio of Evidence to meet the National Occupational Stanards
